Local coach James McNally is again offering tennis coaching for juniors at Lancaster Tennis Club, Lune Road for youngsters from Lancaster, Heysham, Morecambe and all the villages in the Lune Valley.   This year we are offering a special 2-day tennis holiday camp and this has the backing of Lancaster City Council who are keen to encourage young people to develop an interest in tennis.

It is being held on Wednesday April 11thand Thursday April 12th – for under 7 year olds from 10 – 10.45am; for 7-11s from 10.45 to 11.30am each day, and for over 11 year olds – 11.30am to 12.30pm.

This is a great opportunity to try out a new sport or improve your skills with the leading local tennis coach. All youngsters are very welcome, whether or not they have played any tennis before.

The charges will be £7.00 for the under 11s for the two sessions, or £6.00 for junior members. For the over 11s the full charge is £8.00 (or £7 for junior members).

Further regular coaching sessions are scheduled to start on Wednesdays from April 18th

(5 – 7.30pm), and the Club will also be re-starting its Saturday Play Tennis practice sessions from April 21st.  These Saturday sessions are for juniors aged 9 or over, and are only for those who can play some tennis.
